Vocational Training

We have been providing vocational training for young people for some time now. This consists of a number of options:

Computer/IT training, to help trainees obtain office jobs either in Yangon, or in other countries. Owing to the imposition of conscription, many young people have fled to Thailand.

Traditional Birth Attendant training, to provide these village women with knowledge of modern maternity practices, in the absence of trained midwives,

Health Care Assistant training, a 4 month programme designed to equip participants to obtain jobs as home carers, nurses aids, or phlebotomists.
